Lunch seminar Jan Seibert

On 10 June, SHR organised a lunch seminar with the recent Darcy Medalist Jan Seibert, currently a professor at the University of Zürich. Members of SHR had discussion hubs in Lund university, SLU Umeå, Stockholm university, Uppsala university, SMHI, SLU Uppsala and SKB.

Jan told us about his journey, from field work in Skyttorp, to the public water level monitoring tool Crowdwater, to exciting work with new hydrological data sets (CAMELS and Caravan).

We would once again like to congratulate Jan on his great achievements, which led to a Darcy meal, and thank him for taking the time to give a presentation aimed at hydrology enthusiasts in Sweden.

The next SHR seminar will be at the beginning of the hydrological year, don’t miss it!
